What AviEase is
AviEase is a free educational website that helps people prepare for flights and manage fear of flying. The content is general information — it is not personalised advice. If you request a personalised course, its details and terms are sent to you separately by email.
What AviEase is not
AviEase is not medical, mental-health or aviation-safety advice. Avi (the chat assistant), the anxiety profile, the library, and the breathing and grounding tools are self-help aids. They are not a substitute for a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional. If anxiety significantly affects your life, or you are in crisis, please contact a professional — crisis lines are listed on the Sources page and in every page footer.
Avi is an automated assistant that matches your message to pre-written answers. It can misunderstand you. On a flight, always follow the instructions of the crew.
Safety statistics and citations
Statistics on AviEase come from regulators, industry safety reports and peer-reviewed research, and were accurate when added. See Sources & citations. Aviation data evolves; we update figures when sources publish new ones, but the original source is always the authority.
Using the site
You may use AviEase for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't:
- present AviEase content as professional advice;
- attempt to disrupt the site or probe it for vulnerabilities (report issues to us instead);
- republish articles in full without attribution and a link back.
No warranty
AviEase is provided “as is”. We work hard to be accurate but can't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made based on its content.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do.
