Accessibility statement

Our commitment

AviEase exists to make flying less frightening, and that only works if everyone can use it. We aim to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with labelled landmarks, headings and a skip-to-content link.
  • Every interactive element works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline.
  • Text colours meet AA contrast (4.5:1 or better) in both the light and dim themes.
  • A dim theme for dark cabins, which follows your device setting and can be switched with the moon/sun button.
  • Animations respect your device's “reduce motion” setting. The breathing tool also shows a text countdown and progress bar, and announces each phase (not every second) to screen readers.
  • Chat replies from Avi are announced politely to screen readers as they arrive.
  • The seat guide can be used without the visual map: pick a row and seat from the menus to hear what that seat is like.

Known limitations

  • The seat map itself is a picture; individual seats are not separately announced. Use the row and seat menus beneath it instead.
  • Some cited sources are third-party websites whose accessibility we can't control.

Report a problem

If something gets in your way, we want to fix it. Email contact@aviease.com with the page address and, if you can, the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five working days.
