Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
The short version: AviEase is a static website. There are no accounts, and we never sell or share data about you. Anything you type or choose in our tools stays in your own browser. The only exception is the personal course request form: if you choose to send it, your details reach us by email so we can reply.
What is stored, and where
AviEase uses your browser's own storage. Nothing below is ever sent to us or anyone else.
- Anxiety profile answers and your flight date — saved in localStorage so your plan is still there next time.
- Flight plan progress (the steps you tick off) — saved in localStorage.
- Preferences such as the light/dim theme and your breathing rhythm — saved in localStorage.
- Your conversation with Avi — kept in sessionStorage so it survives moving between pages, and deleted automatically when you close the tab. Avi runs entirely in your browser; messages are never transmitted. If you've saved a flight date or an anxiety profile, Avi reads them on your device to personalise its replies.
- Ground Anchor flight details — used only in your browser to build a message. You decide where, if anywhere, that message goes.
You can remove all of it at any time:
Personal course requests
If you request a personalised Fear of Flying Course, the form sends us your first and last name, email address, your age range, your flying situation, whether you have a flight coming up, the trigger you choose, when your anxiety feels strongest, your message and — only if you fill them in — how strong your anxiety feels and what you've tried before. Nothing is sent until you press the button.
- Why we ask: only to understand your request and reply to you by email with the details of your course.
- How it travels: the form is delivered by Web3Forms, a secure, encrypted form-to-email service, which forwards it to our inbox at contact@aviease.com. Web3Forms may keep a copy for up to 30 days.
- What we don't do: we don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share your details.
- Your choice: email us at any time and we'll delete your request and our replies.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, AviEase uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that uses no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track individuals across sites. It records aggregate page views, referrers and basic performance metrics only. If analytics are disabled, no analytics script is loaded at all.
Links to other sites
AviEase links to flight-tracking services (such as Flightradar24), crisis helplines and the regulators and researchers we cite. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
AviEase is not directed at children. The course request form is for people aged 16 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
